Spruce up your ebook with high quality imagery
To bring depth to your document, we recommend including images throughout your ebook. It is a great way to not only highlight your text, but also to break it up and provide some ‘eye-candy’.
We can source high quality images for you and take the time to place them appropriately, to create a consistent flow for your ebook.
All images included in our packages are sourced from www.depositphotos.com. If you have existing images of your own, we would be happy to include them in your ebook. Please note: If you are intending to print the document only download high resolution images (300 dpi).
We can download images from other stock websites, but they may incur a higher fee.
Software programs we use
We format ebooks in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher and Adobe Indesign CS5. We provide the formatted source file and a pdf copy of the ebook to each client once full payment has been received.
The most popular choice of software to format ebooks with is Microsoft Word. It allows authors to make changes to the ebook down the track (most authors have a copy of Microsoft Word on their computer).
If you require the ebook to be professionally printed, we recommend that the ebook be designed in Adobe Indesign CS5 to allow for high resolution printing.
Layout options for your ebook
There are many different types of layouts to choose from. All our ebooks are formatted with a clean, easy to read style to ensure they can be enjoyed on screen and in print.
Proofread your ebook
To ensure we can design and format your ebook efficiently, all content must be supplied in FINAL format as delays and additional fees may apply.
Hire a professional proofreader or have one of your colleagues read through your ebook to ensure it flows well and punctuation and grammar are correct.
All ebooks are treated private & confidential
All documents sent to us are treated as private and confidential. We never disclose ebooks to third parties without the author’s written approval. If required, we are always happy to sign an NDA.
Unless otherwise agreed with the client, That’s Creative! may use a low resolution copy of the ebook design as an example in our portfolio.
Final files you receive
At That’s Creative!, the working file (e.g. Microsoft Word), pdf and stock images downloaded for the ebook are supplied to you as part of your final package, and is included in the overall cost.
How fast can we do it?
At the time of ordering we will advise of our estimated turnaround time. Generally, we can format a 30 page ebook within 3-4 business days (once Ecover design is approved). It depends upon the number of pages your ebook has, amount of formatting required and our current workload. We also offer a rush service for an additional fee.
