That’s Creative! reserves the right to change any design rates and any of our Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
All prices mentioned on this website are in Australian dollars (excluding Ebook Conversions). View conversions to other currencies.
Please read these conditions before accepting quotes or purchasing packages from That’s Creative!
Ebook Content
Please ensure you send us a FINAL copy of your ebook. Have a professional proofreader
or colleague read through your ebook before submitting it to us.
After you have reviewed the draft, we can make edits to the formatting and make minor text changes.
Major changes to the text copy, moving sections around, complete reformatting of the
document etc are not included in our quoted pricing. If the ebook is not submitted to
us in final format, charges to reformat the text will be at an additional fee.
Drafts & Revisions
During the design phase all concepts will be sent to the client in pdf or jpg format with a
small “That’s Creative!” watermark on them. Final files will have this watermark removed.
Revisions
We will include in our quote the number of revisions your project includes. If you require more revisions than stated please let us know and we will inform you of the additional costs.
When the design is sent to you, please check it thoroughly and request ALL the changes you need in one email. This will ensure a more efficient project.
Ebook Formatting/Ecover Design
In all our ebook formatting projects, we start with the ecover design first. Once the
draft ecover design is sent to you, please check it and request ALL changes you need.
Once the ecover design is approved, we will move onto formatting your ebook.
Ebook Software
We can format ebooks in Microsoft Word 2007 or Adobe Indesign CS4. Before the project begins please let us know which program you would like us to use.
Ebook Images
In all our ebook formatting packages, we include up to 5 high quality images from www.dreamstime.com. Additional images cost AU$8 each and you will receive a copy of all images used with your final files. You are also welcome to send us images you would like included in your ebook.
Ebook Conversions
All ebooks conversions are handled by a third-party company. All prices quoted for conversions are in US dollars and payments must be made to That’s Creative! before any conversion project starts.
Minisite Design
All text content is to be provided by the client. Minisite drafts will be uploaded to the “That’s Creative!” server. Once the minisite design is completed we will invoice you. When the payment is received we will forward the minisite design files to you or upload to your server.
Additional Design Services
During the project, if you require additional designs that were not included in your
initial quote, we will be happy to add these for an additional fee.
Royalty Free Images
All images downloaded from www.dreamstime.com have Royalty Free Copyright. Royalty Free images can be used and modified for web designs, advertisements, powerpoint presentations, book covers and pages, CD covers and many more.
Worldwide rights/unlimited projects up to 500,000 printed copies (unlimited online).
Final Files
Final files are forwarded to the client once payment of our invoice has been received. Final files may include: Formatted working file, PDF, ecover/3D ecover (if applicable) and any images sourced.
Copyright
Upon successful completion of the design project and payment, the Client will own full rights to the use, reproduction and any modifications to the designs completed in this project. Copyright of all existing logos and images supplied by the client are retained.
Inclusion In Our Portfolio
Unless otherwise agreed with the client, That’s Creative! may use a low resolution copy of the ebook design as an example in our portfolio.
Confidentiality
All information supplied to That’s Creative! will be kept private and confidential. We acknowledge that documents we receive may contain sensitive information. These documents will be kept safely, securely and confidentially.
Timeframe
We will advise you on estimated turnaround times for individual projects. If you have a strict deadline please inform us before the project starts.
Pricing and Payments
For all standard design projects we invoice clients once the project has been completed. For large or premium projects 25% of the total quote amount is required before commencement of the project. For all projects, the client receives the final working files after full payment (final invoice) has been received. Completion of the project is when final design has been approved.
Currency
All prices listed on our website are in Australian dollars (Ebook Conversion in US dollars). All invoices and quotes are converted into the client’s currency.
Payments
We accept Paypal, Paymate (Credit Card) and Australian Bank Transfer. Details will be included on your invoice (direct payment link to Paypal is available on the invoice).
Outstanding Invoices
Invoices are due on receipt. If payment has not be received within 2 weeks of the invoice date, all future designs must be paid for upfront. That’s Creative! reserves the right to charge 3% interest per week on any amounts not paid within 30 days of invoice. All intellectual property rights remain with That’s Creative! until payment has been received.
Progress Payments
For large or ongoing projects, progress payments are welcomed.
GST
That’s Creative! is not required to charge GST.
Our Guarantee
We guarantee that we will work with you to design a high quality ebook. If upon receiving our initial first draft, you are not happy with our design, you can choose to cease using our design service. Due to the nature of our work being time intensive, we cannot offer
refunds on completed designs.
We provide a friendly and affordable service and strive to gain our clients satisfaction.
